Quello di cui parleremo in questo post è semplicemente come impostare passo a passo una connessione VPN su Windows 7.

 

Prima di tutto nota che questa guida per impostare il network setup su Windows 7 funzionerà meglio se il server VPN dall'altra parte è anche lui su Windows server perché è un setup integrato.

Apri "Network e centro condivisioni" dal pannello di controllo, e scegli "imposta una nuova connessione o network".

Ci sono 2 opzioni nella finestra "connetti a una stazione di lavoro". Nel 99% dei casi devi semplicemente scegliere la prima opzione, a meno che la tua azienda permetta solamente connessioni che utilizzano la linea telefonica.

Inserisci l'indirizzo come dominio oppure indirizzo IP è lo stesso, e nomina la connessione nella casella "nome di destinazione". Poi clicca su "Prosegui".

Puoi lasciare tutte le user login in bianco se ti senti più sicuro così nella finestra successiva. E clicca su "Crea". Sei già pronto se vedi la pagina successiva come nell'immagine sotto.

Per lanciarla semplicemente clicca sulla piccola icona dei network sul pannello di controllo nell'angolo in basso a destra, scegli la connessione che abbiamo appena creato dalla lista popup e clicca "Connetti".

Inserisci la tua username e password e ti starai già connettendo il tuo Windows 7 al network.

Impostare una vpn con PPTP su Mac OSX 10.8 facile e veloce. Le seguenti istruzioni ti guideranno passo a passo nel settaggio del tuo account.
NOTA: questi settaggi cono gli stessi per Mac OSX 10.5 e 10.6 (Leopard e Snow Leopard)
1. Apri le preferenze di sistema e clicca su Network.

2. Clicca sul + sul pannello di controllo dei network.

3. Dal menu che compare scegli VPN seguito da PPTP e poi clicca su crea.

4. Inserisci nel campo indirizzo server il server VPNUK che troverai nella mail di benvenuto in base al paese da cui vuoi connetterti. Inserisci il tuo nome utente nel campo nome account, poi clicca su impostazioni di autenticazione.

5. Inserisci la tua password e clicca su OK.

6. Clicca su Applica.

7. Clicca sul pulsante Avanzate.

8. Clicca sulla casellina Invia tutto il traffico in connessione VPN poi clicca su OK.

9. Clicca su Applica.

10. Lascia cliccato mostra stato VPN nella barra menu e clicca su connetti.

11. Finito! Ora puoi Connetterti/Disconnetterti alla VPN direttamente dalla barra del menu solo con 1 clik.
